Last Friday, we celebrated Cinco De Mayo and Derby Day by making fancy hats and enjoying some homemade salsa! The Inn had a lot of fun with their Cinco De Mayo photo props along with making fancy hats. During the Town Center’s Happy Hour we served fruit skewers and mint juleps!
Yesterday, we celebrated National Asian Heritage Month at Hunan Gardens! The food was authentic and delicious, along with some oolong tea. In The Inn, we made some hawaiian leis. Check out these fancy ladies with their colorful leis!
Today’s weather was in the 80’s!!! The sun was shining and the flowers were blooming. Since it was so nice and warm out, we decided to enjoy our lunch at the Oshtemo park. We met some friendly kids and had some delicious pizza. We are so glad to be able to enjoy this beautiful weather.
Even though it was a raining Wednesday, we found ways to brighten our day! The ladies in The Gardens crafted together a beautiful, pastel themed wreath! To celebrate “Good Friday,” the residents in The Gardens had a blast playing BINGO and then dancing to some classic 1950’s songs! Later in the afternoon, we had made a beautiful spring wreath and then Easter table favors! What a fun day it was!
It’s never a bore here at The Fountains at Bronson Place! This past Monday, we were able to finally go outside to enjoy the beautiful 70 degree weather. Residents from The Gardens enjoyed a fantastic meal at one of Kalamazoo’s favorite restaurants, “Fieldstone Grille”! We all had a great time and conversations.
